China Lacks Variety

Quick note from the Saipan Middle Road Shanghai Bureau: It appears that the Marianas Variety website is one of the "objectional" websites that cannot be accessed from China. The Saipan Tribune website, however, is fully accessible from China. Conspiracy theories are welcome.

  1. The trib is a company newspaper spewing propaganda.

If you hear something long enough, it starts to sound like the truth after awhile.

  8. The US and China both have future military expansion in mind that may include the NMI.

If the US sold the NMI to China it could pay off Bush's Iraq war debt.

Do you think the Chinese would keep article 12?

  10. If we get sold to China, the good news is we can keep our abbreviated CNMI. It will just be changed to Chinese Northern Mariana Islands.

    Why not?

  11. Ed - "Why Not" sounds like a great slogan for a potential NMI candidate.
