GOP Picks....

A little survey here. Which tandem should GOP pick for the gubernatorial race? Babauta-Deleon Guerrero or Hofschneider-Palacios?

According to the news today, each tandem has signed an "accord" that whoever gets wins the primary poll should commit its full support and not run as independent candidates. This accord reportedly and hopefully ended that speculation.

Yet again, anything can happen on Saipan.

I hope the party thinks and strategizes very well and not divide the opposition if they opt to win this year's election.

So, again a little survey here. Which GOP tandem do you think should battle head to head with the Covenant Party (Fitial-Inos)?

You tell me....

  1. lousy candidates again this year5/06/2009 9:12 AM

neither. even people who like galvin don't want him to win as long as he's with juan.

as for team "ha," i wouldn't want to vote for anyone who would give that criminal rex a job in the government.

if arnold is in, consider rex palacios the secretary of something or another and consider the funding for that department to vanish like the micro games cash.

    We do have lousy candidates.

I expect the primary to cause division in the elephant ranks, paving the way for both Tan's candidates to square off in final 2, with Jan Pan beating Ben-tan soundly in the final.

  3. Don't forget about Juan Pan!

  4. I regret to inform you that Juan Pan IS Tan's candidate.

  5. that's another survey. will JuanPan have the chance? Is he the dark horse in the race?

  6. Babauta had his chance and he blew it!
Have no idea why he thinks he could ever be the gov again.
    Recycled uselessness....
Go ahead Juan spend em up.
His war chest should help stimulate the picnic tables, beer sales, and party catering parts of the economy. :)

  7. Maybe he wants a shot at redemption. Or maybe a shot at some of that Korean land grab action.

  8. Redemption? Is Babauta chasing her now? I thought she left the island.

  10. Oh, her? Yeah he was all over that, but I think her name got changed to Re-Dumption or someting.

Actually ran into J-Bab and his current squeeze a couple weeks ago. Acres of cleavage and lots of empty space 'tween the ears on this one. I think he might have found the perfect mate... or something.

  11. Like Juan Pan, Heinz has attitude and personality issues. Heinz's nature is more on academics and/or trivial while Juan Pan's personality is more "class-system based." Both men are also vindictive and selective. The CNMI cannot afford to place its ailing economy in the hands of these two attitudinal and territorial mavericks.

You may also want to look at both camps' following... Radicals all around.

  12. JNBabauta will take this primary. Everyone is underestimating this guy. Watch and learn.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Everybody knows that Arnold assummed the role left behind by Apatang and that's defending Heinz's actions: hot-air rhetoric and personality. Heinz can talk and sometimes talking too much is what turns off voters. "Actions speak louder than words."

  14. It is interesting to know what both Heinz and Arnold have to say about their performance during the 16th Legislature. Arnold is the speaker and Heinz belongs to the ruling GOP Legislature, right?

    ReplyDelete
  15. As House Speaker, Arnold, please list your top three accomplishments:

    1. Nothing
    2. Nothing
    3. Nothing

Now, he's running for a higher elected office to do what? Nothing.

    Shame, shame, shame!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Additionally, as a former House Speaker, Heinz, list yours as well:

    1. None!
    2. None!
    3. None!

So, please enlighten us voters why we should vote for you?

    P--a--leeasse!

  17. Heinz served the CNMI for over a decade and had nothing to show for. Now, he wants to be governor. I'm still waiting for both gentlemen's list of accomplishments.

Enough of do-nothing leaders, the CNMI deserves better!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Maybe, just maybe, our leaders are intentionally screwing up the CNMI just so that they could have issues to include in their platforms. NOT! They're just incompentent, period!

CNMI Voters: What do you expect?!?! You vote for the same leaders; hence, expect the same problems! It's really that simple. A vicious cycle, so to speak.

  19. Let the backstabbing begin! The same critics here are the same ones pretending to be their supporters and promising them votes. Weasels and cockroaches are everywhere. Sooner or later these little tiny bugs need to be squashed!

  20. wow anonymous, cant stop y'self can you?

  21. No balls and a big mouth. This noni probably thinks he can pull in a thousand votes too. What a sorry excuse for a human being. Assholes lurk around every corner.

  22. Arrogant short little twots. This little dickless wanker will say one thing and then say he supported the winning candidate and brought him a thousand votes. That's what cockroaches do.

  24. Biba Juan Pan!!!

  25. The spies are everywhere just like flies.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Better to vote Republican with Heinz or Juan Nekai Babauta. We all see the evils from Ben Tan. Juan Pan is also Willie Tan family. Better to choose the ones that will not give more contract to Willie Tan.

Biba Republican! They won't do as evil as the Tan Family!

  27. subsequent responses to the "weasel's" posts do not answer the pivotal question on what heinz's and arnold's accomplishments are as longtime legislators, now does it?

again, people, you want the same problems, vote for the same leaders!

    ReplyDelete
  28. the house of reps hold the "purse" or the power of the cnmi. it is the chamber where appropriations originate. how has heinz or arnold wield this power to make things better in the cnmi? ha! ha! ha! indeed.

    ReplyDelete
  29. when ha falls, the critic and #1 ha supporter will disappear. then let's see who's the great pretender then!

Aha! "Anyone but Heinz and Arnold!"

  31. he's not the juan5/11/2009 6:07 AM

"JNBabauta will take this primary. Everyone is underestimating this guy. Watch and learn."

maybe, but he won't win the election because of how badly he fucked up as our governor the first time.

even with galvin getting the "good guy" votes, babauta is sunk and we are better for him sinking.

heinz and arnold is a bad pair as well. nobody wants arnold to give his criminal brother rex a job.

rex stole money and materials from the micro games and he'll happily do it with the government money.

he's part of bentan as well. remember who appointed rex the head of the cpa? the micro games? governor fitial.

as for juan pan, forget it. i like him because he makes some good bread, but even the chamber members won't vote for him because he has a big mouth and he's just plain dumb.

don't even get me going about kumoi. that guy is a bigger idiot than juan pan.

a vote for kumoi is one extra step off of suicide cliff. it's like giving your car keys to a kid who has only pushed around tonka trucks.

    who's next?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Say it to your noni face? What a fag.

    ReplyDelete
  33. People who backstab like it in the backdoor.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Acting tough while posting as a noni? Now that's fucking funny!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Everyone can talk all they want here but I'm pretty sure that the voters already know who they are going to vote for regardless of what is being said here. I can guarantee it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. JNB wasn't so great a governor, but after four years of Fitial, he looks like fucking Thomas Jefferson!

    ReplyDelete
  37. true that and such is reflective of the survey located to the left of your screen.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yeah, and Thomas Jefferson kept plantation slaves.......

  39. Given all the candidates' records, it's reasonable to conclude that democratic elections in the CNMI are no more than expensive, noisy wastes of time.

This election should be settled in a more transparent (popular word these days) manner, like in the form of a mixed martial art tournament in which the contestants enter as two man 'tag teams'. This would allow constituents to directly observe the candidates' desire, motivation and willingness to sacrifice a running mate in order to leave the ring in one piece.

Ideally, the effort would render all of the contestants physically incapacitated and unable to assume office, thereby clearing the way for the Feds to come in and take over completely.

This should be presented to the Election Board as soon as possible.

  40. goo$e
    I like that proposal.
It's more user friendly than the one I proposed a few years back.
Contestants requested to meet outside the Ada gym. They will be blindfolded, given a loaded hand gun, and turned loose inside the locked gym. Last contestant standing will have any wounds attended to and will be made the mayor of Pagan. Then the Feds come in to take over. It's that simple and we get rid of a lot of re-cycled uselessness.

    ReplyDelete
  41. In both scenarios above the end game is the one we will get no matter who 'wins' and poses as the governor of the CNMI. The feds will do with this place exactly as they please and will give us residents reassuring pats on the head as good little boys and girls as they do so.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Just as long as the Feds don't cut off the SPAM supply I will be happy and content.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Fuck the feds. The real problem is Ben Tan. He needs to be removed from office if there is to be any hopes for our futures.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Talk is Ben is buying votes and will be re-elected. If so this islands deserves what it gets....again!
