Lil' Hammerhead Hammered....

So the site, as the blogger claims is shutting down. That's another one biting the dust. Business is that bad I guess. :-)

The best blog on Saipan so far calling it quits? What gives Lil? I'm sure other bloggers will feast on this news. However, the website's boldness is truly non-pareil.

Hence, we give this tribute to you.

I guess the heat got to be too much for Roberta.

Lil is not Roberta.

Lil's Saipan (and Wendy Doromal, Ron Hodges, Ed Propste) is coming true. The exodus is coming and the federal government listened to the words of those listed and there will be no visa waivers and no chance for illegal business operators in Saipan. The population will reacg 25k.

The old gaurd, not Lil, is what is dead.

How is the old guard dead?

Are you guys watching the goings on in PI? Saipan corruption is no comparison to PI.

The danger for PI is that the 75 million good people will do nothing.

Anonymous said...

Perhaps that's why the locals are so intent on keeping the Pinoys down on Saipan. Corruption on Saipan PI style?

Lil's blog was never completely CNMI focused, and was actually a bit unfocused during the last couple of months. She never hesitated to lambast my views or character but I hope she keeps her blog active. She's not afraid to parade her sacred cows around in full view, and except for MOTEC keeps her spear thrusts above the belt when defending them. Most of the time.

Just back from Guam myself. Never noticed it before, as I tend to avoid Guam as much as possible, but my daughter pointed out that there are no birds there, and it was true- never saw or heard a single one in three days.

You undoubtedly know that's due to the brown tree snake.

Happy vernal equinox today!

Tomorrow is the fourth Sunday of Lent (Laetare Sunday) -- rose vestments.

there is no god so don't worry about lent people

i worship hammerhead. praise be to the hammer.

I guess it may be appropriate to give up "mustbethehumidity" for this season of sacrifice.

Anonymous said...

i was on Guam recently and saw birds around where i was staying (Agana Heights)

Anonymous said...

So I hear Roberta is leaving for Guam too. Quite a coincidence. Not exactly a bird, in the English sense, more like a stewing hen.

Anonymous said...

Is Angelo moving there, too?

How about any of the OAG or Legislative attorneys?

Angelo Villagomez said...

I'm moving to Mongolia to be a yak herder.

Anonymous said...

As off topic as you usually are S.B. no need to move as you are currently a yak herder. That foo foo dog looks like a tiny yak.:)

Anonymous said...

Don' kid yurt self.

yak yak yak yak!!!!!

The big question now is who has the 2nd best blog here. It was Middle Road who has now become disenchanted, Angelo dets no comments because it is his attempt to vault in to politics, SW is a great writer but no contravercy, Wendy is only focused on one topic, Plato only posts once a quarter, Steele even less, Jeff and Bruce are the infamous echochamber...so who is on top of the hill?

THE TRUTH ABOUT CARMEN FERNANDEZ

November 13, 2002 KUAM
O’Brien fills the position left vacant by senator-select Dr. Carmen
Fernandez. Fernandez was the VP of Administration and Finance when a recent audit released by the
Guam Office of the Public Auditor revealed that during FY2000 through the end of September 2001.
UOG's finances were in a number of instances, found to have been managed poorly.

It appears that the revolving door of employees seeing their way out of Senator Carmen Fernandez's
office continues to spin as an eleventh employee has called it quits. Legislative assistant Michelle
Harris submitted her resignation this morning.

Harris says the senator required a doctor's note
from her in order to care for her son who has been diagnosed with pneumonia, a demand that Harris
describes as “immature.” While the incident isn't the only reason why she has left the office,
Harris adds that with the senator's role as the chairperson for the Committee on Education, she felt
Fernandez hasn't showed any movement toward anything that truly benefits children.

KUAM News
contacted the senator for comment, however our calls were unreturned.
http://www.ku
am.com/news/7832.aspx

As the workload for Senator Carmen Fernandez increases, her staff
numbers continue to drop. The most recent resignation of policy analyst Mark Duarte would mark the
twelfth employee to have walked out of the office, reducing her staff size to three.

“In the
meantime, I'm working on some staff hirings and those are still being worked on right now for the
moment we have three people on staff and we're looking at bringing at least two more on staff,”
said the freshman senator.

Fernandez argues that the number of employees who have left her office
is not twelve; however she did not provide documentation proving otherwise. Meanwhile, she says
Duarte's departure was planned from the beginning. The former policy analyst will now be pursuing
law school.

February 25, 2005 - After being a one term senator in Guam transferring tax payer funds to pay
for a new job for yourself? Seems a little unethical.

Former senator Carmen Fernandez has still
not responded to KUAM's request for comment on the use of her lapsed funds. As reported, at the end
of her term former senator Fernandez transferred nearly $12,000 to Senator Frank Aguon, Jr.
According to Senator Aguon, Fernandez later asked him for a job, and when he declined, asked if the
funds could be transferred to any other senator who might hire her.

Senator Rory Respicio hired
Fernandez for most of the month of January and she was paid $5,000, according to the Legislature's
Accounting Department. On Wednesday Senator Aguon transferred $15,000 to Senator Respicio, however
both senators deny the money is connected to the nearly-$12,000 in lapsed funds given to Aguon by
Fernandez.

CARMEN FERNANDEZ IS BUSY SUCKING AND FUCKING TO KEEP HERSELF AT THE TOP AND IS DOING POLITICAL HIRES AT NMC SO TYPICAL OF THIS WITCH. ASK ALL NMC INTERVIEW COMITTEE WHO THEY SELECT AND IT IS NOT THE SAME AS CARMEN WHO PICK FAVORITES AND WHO CAN GIVE HER POWER TO STAY IN OFFICE.

NOW CHARLES CEPEDA IS ONE WHO IS IN QUESTIONED BECAUSE HIS SUPPORTED CARMEN NOW BUT NOT BEFORE AND IT IS A RUMOR THAT A NMC STUDENT FILE A GREIVANCE AGAINST CHARLES. DOES THIS GUY HAVE A DEGREE TO BE CHAIRMAN OF BOARD OF REGENT OR IS HE THERE TO SHOW OFF. CAN YOU TELL US CHARLIE BOY.

Please stop harassing our president Carmen Fernandez! She is the best and works hard for the students.

And Roberta Guerrero moved to Guam, too. How ironic. Amazing they didn't create a smokescreen for that.
