When you get stuck along Beach Road, better take the Middle Road. This is a website for those who choose to tread Saipan's off the beaten path. * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * +

Free Publicity

Whoa. I guess the MVA doesn't need to spend for more publicity about Saipan since the Miura case trial for extradition. Now, with his hiring of Michael Jackson's lawyer in his defense? That is something to look forward to.

Is Saipan now known at least in the biggest state in the US? Are people asking where Saipan is? Has this perked Californians' curiosity?

In Japan, I believe Saipan is now more popular than ever. This is the time that the tourism agency should be taking advantage of, right?

Wrong? Let me know...

California is not the biggest state in the US; it's not even the second biggest. You'll probably learn this when you're studying for your US Citizenship exam.

Sexy Bruce Berline should use this opportunity to fully benefit the CNMI, by wearing the Saipanda suit to court.

I'd like to hear from a Japanese reader on what the reporters are saying about Saipan. Dogs running wild, extornionate (sp?, sorry EE, but I'm not too proud to ask for help, her) taxi rates, or are they reporting on lovely sunsets and clean beaches. They must be running out of legal opinions by now. Anyone read Japanese? This whole episode could be worth the entire MVA budget for a year.

Perhaps the trial of Miura should be on Saipan, better yet, include Governor Fitial. That would be a two year feeding frenzy for reporters and much economic development and advertising for the CNMI.
