Could this be real? Could this be happening? The people will gather to hold a protest against the current power problem in the CNMI?
Text messages have begun to circulate encouraging the community members to join the rally on September 17 at 5:30pm. Assembly venue will be at the Garapan Fishing Base.
"Affordable, Reliable Power Now!!!" says the text message. "For more info contact Ed Propst for more details...."
When you get stuck along Beach Road, better take the Middle Road. This is a website for those who choose to tread Saipan's off the beaten path. * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * + * +

Just which 'community' is receiving the text messages?
Undo 20 years of CUC mismanagement immediately!
Do every bit of deferred maintenance tomorrow!
Lower the world-wide price of fuel!
Repeal the laws of economics!
Pinoy People Power now!
Biba Revolution!
Laban!
CUC!
No!
X!
Price of world oil? Hey dipstick, why is Guam's power rates half of ours?
Nice try.
The price of world oil went down. The price of CUC went nowhere.
blow it out your ear.
If you ever wanna meet with Fitial, go to Kimchi Cabana in Garapan.
Is this an oxymoron? Kimchee and Cabana?
You can easily find Gov. Fitial in the karaoke bars in Garapan with Ray Mafnas as his guide. He prefers young lass. You know the wife is not here so he is free as a bird. Problem here morality is never been a big issue unlike in the mainland.

See also my two components listed immediately above fuel cost. And what does Guam pay for fuel compared to the CNMI?
Nice try yourself. It's easy to complain when you don't know what you're talking about. This "protest" is typical of the same Old Boy Network demagoguery that has gotten us into this mess over 30 years.
Actions speak louder than words, especially the same old "emotional" rabble-rousing that created the problem!
Those who promise instant solutions are the problem, whether Fitial, Sablan, or Propst.
Those who actually work to make things better, such as Tony Muna, are the solution.
Join the doers, not the talkers.
It's okay for Ed Poops to ejaculate "change" over and over again for months but eventually he's got to answer the question "And replace with what?"
