Film ReView: Hairspray

Travolta proved to be one versatile actor. He's so funny, amazing and still can dance despite the heavy set character as a woman. Watching this movie is because you wouldn't want to miss seeing Travolta as a heavy set woman in a movie. He's soooo good in this movie, especially during the last part of the film!
Yes. That's the John Travolta playing a woman in the remake of a broadway musical "Hairspray."

Hairspray is a nostalgia of the 60's set in Baltimore, 1962. A set during "the heyday of hair-dos and hair-don'ts, Heartthrobs and hefty girls, hot dates and hip talkers, beatniks and hair hoppers, and one magical potion that keeps it all together." A time when blacks and whites were segregated.A socially relevant film that will make you tap, thump, and laugh on your seat. Travolta is amazing and a riot!
